What I want this year
is for love, joy, and peace
to be shared all around the world
and have men’s conflicts cease.

What I want this year
is for gentleness and goodness 
to live inside of every man,
woman, and child, no less!

What I want this year
is for God to fortify 
our longsuffering and temperance
like our Role Model on High.

I want to witness meekness
in every attitude. 
I want to see faith strengthened 
as we feed on spiritual food.
