Ladies’ Jeans with No Front Pockets
Either I’m late, or I’ve been living like a hermit; or I haven’t bought a new pair of jeans in some time, which is why I’m only now noticing the trend.
I recently bought a pair of jeans, online, in a smaller size than what I was used to wearing, due to my unintended weight loss. To my surprise, the jeans had no actual front pockets—only the outline of faux ones. I felt deceived and thought the jeans should cost less with less functional use. I got less for my money.
Yes, something as simple as my paying more for jeans with no pockets surprised and disappointed me.
I Need Storage Space
Can you imagine the outcry if men’s front jeans pockets were to disappear from their pants? I’m guessing they’d feel a much less sense of security in keeping their personal belongings close.
I have seen full pockets marked out on front and back of ladies’ tights—no complaints there. But when one has to spend a tiny fortune for a good, sturdy pair of jeans, I want every scrap of material that adds to their functionality. I say put front pockets back on ladies’ jeans! I want to see them restored.
Is That Being Done to Men’s Fashion?
